We had a night of friendly fun, banter, and philanthropy!
The 12th Annual Irv Feldman Poker Tournament and Casino Night took place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Gibson’s Steakhouse in Oak Brook, IL. The event welcomed over 200 poker guests and 120 casino guests, where they were treated to classic Gibsons offerings with passed apps, carving stations, specialty desserts, and late night bites! We proudly displayed the new Learning to Live with PF workbook—a powerful resource developed in collaboration with the ALA.Together we raised over $100,000 for pumonary fibrosis! Thanks to everyone who participated.

We’re proud to share that our partnership with the American Lung Association (ALA) in the fight against pulmonary fibrosis has reached an exciting milestone. At the 12th Annual Irv Feldman Texas Hold ’Em Tournament, we proudly displayed the new Learning to Live with PF workbook—a powerful resource developed in collaboration with the ALA.
Our ongoing relationship with Danielle Trojenik, Executive Director of Greater Chicago ALA, has been central to this effort. Her leadership and shared commitment to supporting the pulmonary fibrosis community continue to inspire our work.

Surpise Bagpipe Performance
The evening kicked off with a spirited bagpipe procession, weaving through the poker tables and bringing a burst of excitement that had everyone smiling. It was a memorable and joyful highlight of the night.

The Gurtz Family Foundation for a Last Woman Standing prize! The Last Woman Standing in the poker tournament received a $500 prize in honor of Marlene Gurtz. The prize celebrated the perseverance and determination of the winning player just as pulmonary fibrosis warrior Marlene Gurtz battled her lung disease.
